A lot depends on what will affect your decision.
Is it cost? Recommendation? The type of car? Or did you simply get on well with the person on the other end of the phone? Speak to 3 or 4 driving instructors and if they ask lots of questions about you, & you develop a friendly conversation, then give that instructor a try! Consider this...

It's the same when you take your driving lessons. Generally you will do better with someone who you like listening to and learning from. When you phone, it's important to speak directly to the instructor who will be teaching you, so you can build up a rappour before you spend any money. That way you will know exactly what to expect - right from day one!
You will learn faster and in the long run it will save you a lot of money!
With many large and national driving schools, once you've finished speaking to the receptionist, you have no control over who your instructor will be. They could easily be a trainee, charge you full price, and you might never know!
